The So Fresh Saturday Tour Heads to Ogden Park

The Resident Association of Greater Englewood also know as R.A.G.E. is back with the Englewood Park "PEACE" Tour which will continue on to Ogden Park - 6500 S. Racine on July 30th from 3pm-7pm! There will be free food, entertainment, resources, workshops and more.

So Fresh Saturdays - Back to School Finale at Hamilton Park

R.A.G.E. is excited to wrap up the So Fresh Saturday tour at Hamilton Park (513 W. 72nd St.) with a Back to School Finale on August 29th from 3pm-8pm.

Community residents are taking Englewood’s fate into their own hands by sponsoring the third annual So Fresh Saturdays’ series. The day long arts, entertainment, and educational initiative premiered after residents felt a lack of peaceful festivities in Englewood. The So Fresh Saturdays’ tour kickoff on June 20, 2015 at Sherwood Park (5701 S. Shields) from 3pm-8pm.

We Did it Again - RAGE Year in Review!!!

RAGE would like to thank all of our members and supporters for your continued support! Your contributions of time, money, and—most importantly—ideas have positively affected the lives of many residents in the Greater Englewood Community. We are excited to share our 2014 Year in Review and invite you all to our upcoming village meeting on Tuesday, January 20th at 6pm at the 7th District Community Room located at 1438 West 63rd Street.  

No Violence, Just Peace in Englewood – 1 Park Down 4 More to Go!

R.A.G.E.  kicked off the So Fresh Saturdays' series at Hermitage Park, June 7th and brought PEACE with them!! From peaceful musical performances, youth dance groups to the art installation that spelled out #GoodinEnglewood! Over 200 attendees with an inter-generational mix of residents from Englewood enjoyed this festive occasion!

ChiRaq is Dead....So Fresh Saturdays in Englewood Lives On!

R.A.G.E. has never been fans of the term and attention of the word Chi-Raq and as far as we are concerned it is DEAD!!  We are SUPER excited to kick off the So Fresh Saturday series for the summer at Hermitage Park, this Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 5839 South Wood Avenue from 3pm-8pm.  So Fresh Saturdays is a FREE, family-friendly, resident driven, “edu-tainment” series that will showcase various artistic expressions, provide resources for the community and educational workshops for all ages. The goal of the series is to create a safe space in the parks of the Englewood and West Englewood community.

Englewood School Repurposing Retreat
friends and collaborators, has been working with IIT Institute of Design to build community development projects for Englewood. We are currently working with the IIT Institute of Design to find opportunities to repurpose closed schools or develop community spaces.

A Year in Review....What exactly has RAGE done in 2011???

Hot Off the Presses!! - Englewood Youth Times 2nd Edition

While the mass media is focusing on the negative stories of Englewood, Media-N-Motion is teaching students to find the Good in Englewood! Students expressed themselves through poems, books reviews and other story that matter to them!

Greater Englewood TIF Districts Meeting hosted by RAGE

All the six aldermen from wards 3, 6, 15, 16, 17, & 20 are invited to provide residents with an update on the TIF funding and developments in Greater Englewood.
