Kevin Woods is a Englwood based artists who attends Kennedy-King College located on 63rd and Halsted.Kevin started out drawing at the age of seven and was introduce to a drawing untensil by his grandmother. 

Each One Reach One....Englewood Speaks a Success!!

With over 70 attendees that varied from parents, faith-based and community leaders, educators, teachers and students, attendees provided the Greater Englewood Community Action Council (GECAC) with the tools necessary to work on educational strategic plan!

Englewood Speaks! Community Dialogue on Education

The Greater Englewood Community Action Council, along with the Office of Family & Community Engagement (FACE) is committed to engaging in meaningful conversation with parents and other community members. Therefore, we are inviting parents and local residents in your community to participate in a community dialogue – “Englewood Speaks”. This will be a thoughtful, honest conversation to hear from community members and educators concerning their values and priorities as it pertains to education. We will also solicit ideas on how to support schools in our community.
