MASK Founder to be Honored at Local Nonprofit Gala

Tamar Manasseh, founder of MASK, will be honored along with other Chicago leaders and activists at Girls in the Game's 22nd Anniversary Field of Dreams event on February 23rd, 2017. Girls in the Game empowers girls through sports, health and leadership to be gamechangers in the community and provides after school programs at four schools in Englewood.

The 2012 Violence Stops Here Youth Performance Competition Starts Soon!

The Violence Stops Here competition begins online September 1st for youth in Chicago's Chatham, Englewood, and Grand Boulevard communities. The top ten entrants will be taken by limousine to compete for a $2,500 cash scholarship in front of a studio audience at the VSH12 Live showcase in October at Resolution Digital Studios in Chicago. The first and second runners up will also receive cash scholarship awards.
