Help Bring the Kusanya Cafe to Englewood!

You are exclusively invited to a fundraiser to benefit the Kusanya Cafe.  The name Kusanya is Swahili for gather and we are  asking you to mark your calendars and gather with to support this amazing  project!

Join us Saturday, August 20th at Hamilton Park Cultural Center at 513 W. 72nd Street from 4pm-6pm, it is free to attend but donations will be accepted.

The  Kusanya Café, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization that exists to  provide a gathering place of empowerment and encouragement for the residents of  Englewood through a comfortable and high-quality coffee establishment. It is our belief that all people have a deep desire to gather together and connect with each other and The Kusanya Cafe seeks to supply that need to the residents of Englewood.

We are requesting your presence and hope you are able to attend!

I am looking forward to both this event and to Englewood having its very own cafe!

Yall should be sure to send an invite to Mayor Emanuel...he seems to be hitting the streets a lot (esp. on the Southside) and am sure would be interested in this project...

This will be awesome to have in the neighborhood....So many of us have to go to Robust or other gathering spaces outside Englewood...I can't wait until opening day!!
