So Fresh Saturdays’ 5th stop at Ogden Park this weekend – August 4th!

So Fresh Saturday’s fourth stop on July 21st at Murray Park was nothing short of amazing! We provided hundreds of Englewood residents with access to community resources, music, free food plus an organic food cooking demonstration by youth from the Gardeneers, and performances by talented local artists like hip-hop mentoring group, Emcee Skool, young neo-soul singer SaKyrah, poetic rapper Chi Boy Jimmy, with the popular artist/activist Phenom as Master of Cermony!

Although the temperature is forecasted to be over 90 degrees again this Saturday, R.A.G.E. will be at Ogden Park (6500 S Racine) from 3pm-7pm for So Fresh Saturdays 5th stop! So make sure you don’t miss out on the fun and join us. We will have more resources and another packed schedule of amazing performances including a live dance workshop by MODOS Dance Company all in the name of peace!

So Fresh Saturday is a resident driven “edu-tainment” series that will showcase various artistic expressions and educational workshops that will focused on youth, entrepreneurship, hip hop, media, social networks, community activism, and culturally relevant history using music, film, and art! As a part of the Chicago Park District’s Night Out in the Parks, this series is designed for all ages in an effort to create a safe space in the parks of our community! If you are interested in performing email us at and if you are interested in setting up a resource table or volunteering contact us at 866-845-1032 or email us at!
