Advocate Trinity Hospital to Host a Nov. 30 Open House

Advocate Trinity Hospital, 2320 E. 93rd St., Chicago, will open its doors to the public on November 30 to showcase a recent $10 million investment in facility upgrades.

The Open House will take place on the same day, in two sessions – one early and one late afternoon.

  •  Session 1: Between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm
  • Session 2: Between 4:00 and 6:00 pm

Both portions of the Open House will be the same. Each will include tours of the hospital’s new Surgical Intensive Care Unit, a new Medical Intensive Care Unit for patients needing 1:1 or 2:1 patient-to-nurse care, and newly-added private patient rooms.

“Advocate Trinity Hospital is modernizing both its facilities and nursing care models to better address the specific health needs of our community,” says Terika Richardson, President of Advocate Trinity Hospital. “Chicago’s Southeast Side sees the highest rates of cardiovascular disease, stroke, cancer and diabetes in Chicago, and we are making strategic investments that will allow us to address and ultimately reduce these numbers.”

In addition to facility improvements, Advocate Trinity has also dedicated resources to make meaningful community health programs available to area residents. The hospital offers group education and support for diabetes, stroke and breast cancer, as well as a monthly health education and walking program – all free of charge. Open House guests will have opportunities to sign up or learn more about these community classes. Free parking is available at the Southwest corner of 93rd Street and Yates Boulevard.
