Chicago HOPES for Kids is a non-profit organization that provides educational support to children living in homeless shelters. One of our partner shelters, Primo Center for Women and Children is moving to the Englewood community, and we are looking for volunteers to work with our kids!

On Our Shoulders We Raise A Village - Big Shoulders Fund

Big Shoulders Fund has launched the Brighter Future Award 2013. A scholarship lottery aimed at investing in our young scholars in these crucial times. . The Brighter Future Award is a scholarship of up to $3,500 dollars to attend a Big Shoulders Fund school. The scholarship auto-renewing for each academic school year up to 8th grade!   Previous students who have received Big Shoulders Fund scholarships have been put on the fast track to attend some of the nation's best Colleges and Universities.
