The Englewood Park Takeover Continues....4 parks down, 3 more to go!!  Our next stop is Ogden Park on August 5th at 6500 S. Racine from 3pm-7pm. There will be FREE Food, Live Performances, Art, a Resource Fair and more!

The Resident Association of Greater Englewood (R.A.G.E.) is excited to kick off our Englewood Peace in the Parks Tour - "So Fresh Saturdays" on June 3rd! This year we are taking over seven parks in Greater Englewood in the name of peace!  We would love for your organization to participate this year in our resource fair. This is an opportunity to share information about your services or organization to over 1000+ residents in Englewood.

The So Fresh Saturday Tour Heads to Ogden Park

The Resident Association of Greater Englewood also know as R.A.G.E. is back with the Englewood Park "PEACE" Tour which will continue on to Ogden Park - 6500 S. Racine on July 30th from 3pm-7pm! There will be free food, entertainment, resources, workshops and more.

So Fresh Saturdays Kick Off at Sherwood Park - May 28th

R.A.G.E. is excited to kick off this year's So Fresh Saturdays Tour - Englewood Park Takeover in the Name of PEACE! The first one kicks off as early as May 28th at Sherwood Park - 5701 S. Shields from 3pm-7pm!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - CHICAGO, August 4, 2015 - After a recent shooting of a 6 year old in West Englewood, residents hope Englewood park series will bring more peace and hope to the community. On August 8, So Fresh Saturdays will arrive at Lindblom Park (6054 S. Damen) to promote community building, culture, arts, and activism. The days are full of celebration and community connection.

So Fresh Saturday Series Kicks Off with a Bang in Englewood

Members of the Resident Association of Greater Englewood (R.A.G.E.) hosted a So Fresh Saturday celebration to reclaim Sherwood Park for peace on Saturday, June 20th. With the help of local artists, activists, and residents, the spacious park on 57th and Shields transformed into a scene overflowing with music, activity, and laughter.

R.A.G.E. is Seeking Local Artists & Dance Groups to Perform at So Fresh Saturdays!

If you are a local artist, dance group, choir, poet or if you manage local artists, we would love for you to be a part of our Englewood Park Peace Tour - So Fresh Saturdays.  We take over 5 parks in the Englewood community in the name of peace and would like bring artist to the stage who are not glorifying violence, sex or drugs to join us for the tour! RAGE Partners with Donda's House to Host Open Mic at So Fresh Saturdays!

R.A.G.E. is excited to partner with Donda's House Inc. to host an open mic that will allow young local talents ages 15-24 from Englewood to earn a spot to perform at the AAHH Festival hosted by the Common Ground Foundation!

ChiRaq is Dead....So Fresh Saturdays in Englewood Lives On!

R.A.G.E. has never been fans of the term and attention of the word Chi-Raq and as far as we are concerned it is DEAD!!  We are SUPER excited to kick off the So Fresh Saturday series for the summer at Hermitage Park, this Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 5839 South Wood Avenue from 3pm-8pm.  So Fresh Saturdays is a FREE, family-friendly, resident driven, “edu-tainment” series that will showcase various artistic expressions, provide resources for the community and educational workshops for all ages. The goal of the series is to create a safe space in the parks of the Englewood and West Englewood community.

Despite Recent Shootings, So Fresh Saturdays Continues in Englewood....

Less than a month ago the Resident Association of GreaterEnglewood aka R.A.G.E. successfully kicked off the So Fresh Saturdays series at Sherwood Park and is continuing this “Englewood Park Tour” despite recent shootings in the neighborhood.  The next event is scheduled at Hamilton Park Cultural Center located at 513 West 72nd St. on Saturday, July 27th from 4pm-9pm.  

Greater Englewood Welcomes Louder Than a Bomb!!

Docs & Dialogue will host a special sneak preview of the electrifying documentary "Louder Than a Bomb"!! Saturday, Feb. 26th at 3pm KKC Black Box Theater, 740 W. 63rd St.! Bring your children, youth groups, students, etc o see this must-see film!! We are also doing a closing ceremony to honor students from Media-N-Motion, a youth journalism program also developed by residents.
