Volunteer with Englewood for the 6th Annual Greater Englewood Unity Day!

It's that time of year for residents and stakeholders to come together for the 6th Annual Greater Englewood Unity Day in connection with Chicago's Citywide Clean and Green Volunteer Clean Up on Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 10am-1pm. A unity celebration filled with food, fun and love will follow the clean up from 1pm-3pm.

Community Mural Project

City Incite's young adults completed a community mural project over the summer to inspire positivity throughout the communtiy. The project was a partnership with Imagine Englewood IF and sponosred by DFSS! One of the murals can be found in the community garden at Nicholson Technology Academy and the other two can be found at Paul Robeson High School in the lunch room!

Imagine Englewood if, Teamwork Englewood, et. al., hold Town Hall on Violence 3.31.
“IMAGINE ENGLEWOOD & PARTNERS HOLD URGENT TOWN HALL ON VIOLENCE!”
On Saturday, March 21, 2012, community stakeholders  are called to create a plan of action to reduce violence in Englewood.  Imagine Englewood if, Teamwork Englewood, and community partners will jointly hold an urgent Town Hall Meeting comprised of  youth, community leaders, ministers, elected officials, and residents at Imagine Englewood if...!, 730 W. 69th St., Chicago, beginning at 11:00 a.m.  “Englewood lost 60 souls in 2011, and the number is rising in 2012,” stated Mrs. Jean Carter-Hill, IEi’s Executive Director. “The explosion in gun violence makes it imperative that we unite to eliminate this scourge upon our community,” she added.

20 EMPTY CHAIRS TO GUN VIOLENCE!

National Make a Difference Day is the largest national day of community service, when millions of Americans unite in a common mission to improve the lives of others.  Imagine Englewood if will observe Make A Difference Day this year by hosting a community resource fair for all ages that focuses on gun violence and "Bridging the Generational G.A.P. for Grandparents, Adolescents & Parents."
