CCLBA Putting Affordable Homeownership within Reach of Residents with New Homebuyer Direct Program
The Cook County Land Bank Authority (CCLBA) has launched the new Homebuyer Direct Program, which helps prospective homebuyers buy, rehab and ultimately move in to the home of their dreams. 
The program serves two important functions: it helps homebuyers build equity during the purchase process and lets them incorporate their own ideas into the design of their new home. It also helps transform vacant homes and communities that were hardest hit by the mortgage crisis throughout the south and west sides of Chicago.
