Celebrate Black History Month by indulging in hand-crafted African artifacts, accessories, clothing and more! The Resident Association of Greater Englewood, also known as R.A.G.E., will be hosting an African Pop-up Shop Fundraiser on February 14th and February 15th at Hamilton Park Cultural Center from 12pm-5pm.

The Resident Association is excited to host a special Black History Month Edition of So Fresh Saturdays! So Fresh Saturdays was developed to educate, empower and provide a “safe space” for youth and residents the Englewood community and citywide. 

Chicago Shakespeare in the Parks at Hamilton Park

Chicago Shakespeare in the Parks returns for its third summer tour! For the second summer in a row, Hamilton Park will be hosting Chicago Shakespeare in the Parks on Friday, August 1st at 6:30 pm. This 75 minute adaptation of William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream is a perfect introduction to Shakespeare and a great lively comedic romp for seasoned Shakespeare fans. Bring your lawn chair or blanket and enjoy this FREE performance in the community.

The Chicago Community Trust is marking its 99th birthday with a community wide conversation about our collective future. On Monday, May 12th the Englewood Community Cultural Planning Council (ECCPC) in partnership with Hamilton Park Cultural Center will host 3 vibrant on the table discussions at Hamilton Park located at 513 W. 72nd from 6pm-8pm.
