So Fresh Saturday Festivals Benefits Englewood Families with Back to School Event

Resident Association of Greater Englewood (R.A.G.E.) annual festival series supports education and peace with back-to-school drive on Saturday, August 26th at Hamilton Park from 3pm-7pm. 

Calling All Youth Ages 9-12...Let's Play Ball!

Thursday, June 29th is Opening Day for the Englewood Youth Police Baseball League (EYPBL).  It's not too late to join! Call Teamwork Englewood 773-488-6600.  There are no fees and uniforms are included.  Boys and Girls ages 9-12 will enjoy a summer full of fun, exercise and exciting field trips! It's Your Park Day at Hamilton Park Cultural Center - June 18th

The day will be filled with park cleaning, beautification and connecting with the members of the Hamilton Park Cultural Center PAC.  This is the only park in Englewood participating so we need the community to support this effort!

Englewood Celebrates Chicago Artists Month

Join the Englewood Community Cultural Planning Council as we present - "Magnitude & Bond" as a part of Chicago Artist Month at Hamilton Park located at 513 W. 72nd St. from 6pm-7:30pm. Our council will bring performing artists together of different ages, cultures, communities and styles(jazz, classical, R&B, blues, dance,) to create an evening where the sounds and movement crosses cultures, ages, heart beats and communities to unite one rhythmic city for one night in one place.

Despite Recent Shootings, So Fresh Saturdays Continues in Englewood....

Less than a month ago the Resident Association of GreaterEnglewood aka R.A.G.E. successfully kicked off the So Fresh Saturdays series at Sherwood Park and is continuing this “Englewood Park Tour” despite recent shootings in the neighborhood.  The next event is scheduled at Hamilton Park Cultural Center located at 513 West 72nd St. on Saturday, July 27th from 4pm-9pm.  

R.A.G.E. Kicks Off the So Fresh Saturdays Series in Englewood Parks!

So Fresh Saturdays is a community driven "edu-tainment" series that will showcase various artistic expressions and educational workshops that will focused on youth, entrepreneurship, hip hop, media, social networks, community activism, and culturally relevant history using music, film, and art!
