The issues of food, land and economic opportunity are always up for discusson at the monthly Grow Greater Englewood community meeting. Thursday April 23, 2015 from 6pm - 8pm at Perry Street Farm House, 5749 S Perry. All are welcome!

Getting Hired with Arrests and Convictions

Growing Home, Inc. is hosting a class at the Wood Street Urban Farm on April 30th at 4pm that teaches attendees how to be successful in their job search when they have a criminal background. Lindblom Math & Science Academy Enrollment Now Open !

Enrollment is now open for one of the best high schools in Chicago ! Lindblom Math & Science Academy, 6130 S. Wolcott Ave. The High School serves 9 - 12th grades and the Academic Center serves 7th and 8th grades. GO EAGLES ! Deadline: December 13th.

Greater Englewood Welcomes Louder Than a Bomb!!

Docs & Dialogue will host a special sneak preview of the electrifying documentary "Louder Than a Bomb"!! Saturday, Feb. 26th at 3pm KKC Black Box Theater, 740 W. 63rd St.! Bring your children, youth groups, students, etc o see this must-see film!! We are also doing a closing ceremony to honor students from Media-N-Motion, a youth journalism program also developed by residents.

Aldermanic Candidates Face R.A.G.E.

If you are a Greater Englewood Residents living in the 3rd, 20th or 6th wards then you were among more hundreds residents who attended the “Who’s Running?” Candidate Summit this past Saturday, which coincidentally was held on Dr. Martin Luther King’s Birthday, at the Enlgewood United Methodist Church.
