Food For Life, A Human Right?

The Food for Life Forum brings key stakeholders from across the city to address food and racial justice as they intersect at the corner store. Join us on October 31, 2015 from 10:00am to 1:00pm to review the current context around healthy food access and the racial dynamics in the inner-city, analyze various barriers and challenges to solving the issues, hear about some of the work being done at the grass roots level to address the issues, and work towards developing a city wide model of intervention. National Green the Church Conference Comes to Chicago and Englewood

Black congregations from Chicago and all across the country are learning how to "go green" for the sake of community at the National Green the Church Chicago Summit taking place August 19th - 21st at Trinity United Church of Christ, 400 W 95th Street. http://www.greenforall.org/events
