Jobs on the Block is Back! Outdoor Employment Fair by R.A.G.E Returns – August 21st

With the support of the Safe and Peaceful Chicago initiative, our association is proud to host for the 3rd year, the outdoor employment fair here in Englewood, Jobs on the Block, Wednesday, August 21st. Several employers and community resources will come to the 700 West Block of 66th Place (right off Halsted) for the outdoor hiring event from 10am - 2pm.

New UChicago Medicine report outlines top health priorities for Englewood and other South Side communities

UChicago Medicine's 2019 Community Health Needs Assessment emphasizes diabetes, asthma and trauma resiliency, as well as importance of addressing underlying contributors to health concerns and chronic disease; residents on the South Side are twice as likely to be unemployed and living in poverty as statewide population.
