Discuss Food, Land and Economic Opportunity at Monthly Community Meeting

The issues of food, land and economic opportunity are always up for discusson at the monthly Grow Greater Englewood community meeting. Grow Greater Englewood is a coalition of residents and stakeholders who work to create a local healthy food system and economy.

On Thursday, April 23rd we will discuss the term Urban Agriculture and explore what it means for increasing economic opportunities (jobs and businesses) for Englewood residents. Also, find out more about the Englewood Whole Foods Market, Corner Store Project, Perry Street Farm and Farmer's Market.

Come voice your concerns and give feedback about how we as a community access land, healthy food, jobs and other opportunities to improve our quality of life right now.

This meeting will be held from 6pm - 8pm at Perry Street Farm House, 5749 S Perry.

Free refreshments will be served. Children are welcome.
