4th Annual Englewood International Film Festival Returns!

"The Englewood International Film Festival (EIFF) is encouraging Chicagoland to say “I Believe”.

Films have come to be showcased from as far as France and locally from Chicago’s own Englewood neighborhood. In fact, this year 3 films feature Englewood connections: “The Painter”, “Sex Ain’t Love”, and the opening night film “Englewood”. The festival includes 4 days of networking, workshops and films.

The 2014 EIFF theme for this year is “I Believe”. EIFF Founders Mark Harris, filmmaker & Alisa Inez, songwriter ask event supporters to choose something to believe... from believing in a better neighborhood or a brighter future to believing to start new careers or build better families. Just say...”I Believe” in a positive direction.

The Opening film red carpet event is always a highlight of the festival. This year we feature “Englewood” a film by award winning director William Cochran. It is a story of growing up in Englewood that broad audiences have enjoyed at festivals.

The Red Carpet Reception starts at 6 p.m. at the Chatham 14 Theater – 210 West 87th Street!!  full schedule link here:"
