Jobs on the Block 2018 is coming up!

The Englewood's Quality of Life Plan Public Safety Task Force has teamed up with the Jobs & Economic Development Task Force to host the 2018 Jobs on the Block outdoor employment fair scheduled for Thursday, August 30th, 10am to 2pm on 66th & Hermitage! They have invited several employers who are ready to hire as well as resources to help individuals remove any barriers to employment. 

Also, Commuities Partnering 4 Peace and Chicago Urban League have partnered with this summer initiative to offer two FREE Career Development Workshops next week for those who want a headstart on preparing their resume and practicing for potential job interviews. The first workshop will be Thursday, August 23rd, 10-12pm atTeamwork Englewood and the second workshop is Wednesday, August 29th, 2-4pm at West Englewood Library.
