Spotlight: Mr. Robert Washington

Robert Washington is a long-time Englewood resident and someone you should know. Mr. Washington is employed by Teamwork Englewood as part of the CPS Safe Passage program. On May 7, 2018, CPS Teacher and Staff Appreciation Day, Mr. Washington was awarded a certificate of appreciation by John Hope High School. Mr. Washington serves as a Base Operator and supervises a staff of ten (10) Community Watchers who ensure the safety of students as they travel to and from school each day.
Being known as someone who regularly goes beyond the call of duty, Mr. Washington also assists the 7th District Chicago Police Department and other organizations with planting gardens, summer festivals and other events that benefit the youth and residents of the Greater Englewood community. Congratulations, Mr. Washington!
