We envision providing a physical, social, and emotional climate within the school community that is conducive to enhancing a student-centered learning environment. We will inspire students to strive for excellence and seek the cooperation and support of parents and community members. By establishing an atmosphere in which all students realize their unique worth and talents, our students will develop a strong self-concept and cultivate positive relationships.
Our instructional programs will be tailored to meet the educational needs of our students, which will lead to excellence in student performance. The staff and faculty at Martin Luther King, Jr. Academy of Social Justice will continually keep abreast of the "Best Practices" to facilitate academic excellence in our students. We will erect bridges between the school's purpose and our student's wellspring of culture. Students will be equipped with skills to make deicsions that will enable them to become productive members of society.
