We offer a FREE LEGAL CLINIC the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 4-7 pm at the AKArama Center located at 6220 SOUTH INGLESIDE AVENUE.
We provide free and confidential legal consultations with volunteer attorneys to residents needing assistance with: SSI/Public Benefits, Child Support/Custody, Domestic Violence, Housing Issues (evictions, lock-outs, etc), Wills, Epxungements, and a host of other legal issues.
To schedule an appointment please call (312) 341-1070 and press the button to get transferred to the voicemail box for the Woodlawn Legal Clinic. Walk-ins are always welcome too.
*If you need assistance with an Expungement of your Criminal record please obtain a copy of your RAP sheet for $16 from 3510 S. Michigan Avenue. Monday-Friday from 8am - 12 prior to attending the clinic.
