Shop at Growing Home’s Organic Farmstand and get double the amount of your purchase free ($10 limit). For example, buy $10 worth of organic produce on your Link card, and get $10 worth of organic produce FREE.

The Wood St. Farm needs your input on how we can better serve the needs of Greater Englewood using our organic produce plus education around healthy living and gardening.
Join us at our next meeting Thursday, May 10 at 5:30 p.m. as we plan upcoming events, workshops and outreach initiatives in Greater Englewood. Committee meetings are held every 2nd Thursday of the month. All are welcome to attend. Free refreshments provided.
Garden Outreach Initiative
Are you looking to turn your ugly vacant lot into a beautiful community garden? Growing Home can show you how or refer you to the right sources for help. As part of our Garden Outreach Initiative, Growing Home wishes to assist any group or community organization in Greater Englewood get their community garden up and growing this season. About Growing Home...
Growing Home provides transitional employment and training to Chicagoans who have multiple barriers to employment, such as, having been previously homeless or incarcerated. Through a social enterprise business based on organic agriculture our job training program assists individuals in securing permanent and unsubsidized employment. Our program provides experiential learning opportunities and employment in a local economy, as well as, a unique job readiness curriculum that helps reintroduce participants back into the workforce.
Growing Home’s mission is to operate, promote, and demonstrate the use of organic agriculture as a vehicle for job training, employment, and community development.
