Steppin' Out for Domestic Violence

See bigger map

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.  The 7th District Domestic Violence Subcommittee presents "Steppin' Out for Domestic Violence", an event to bring awareness and resources about domestic violence to the community.  We are accepting donations of toiletries as entry to this event to support the many shelters in the Greater Englewood community.  We are seeking donations for men, women, infants and children.

Activities will include line dancing, steppin', music and much more.  Refreshments will be served.  Come out and learn more about the many resources offered in the Englewood Community.  Feel free to wear the color purple to represent Domestic Violence Awareness.  The targeted audience is 18 years old and up.

For more information contact Officer Wormley at 7th District CAPS @ 312-747-6722.
