All the six aldermen from wards 3, 6, 15, 16, 17, & 20 are invited to provide residents with an update on the TIF funding and developments in Greater Englewood. RAGE wants to improve the physical appearance and economic viability of Greater Englewood which is defined as 55th & Garfield Blvd. on the north to 75st Street to Dan Ryan Expressway on the East and Hamilton Street on the West.

We want to create a sustainable model for community-based administration of a TIF from the formation to completion.  In order to accomplish these goals we are interested in joining or creating TIF advisory councils that consist of least 10 Englewood residents and stakeholders specifically for the Englewood Neighborhood TIF, 69th & Ashland, Englewood Mall, and the 67th & Wentworth TIF that was recently approved by City Council.

During the update meeting we hope discuss to discuss existing or potential redevelopment contracts for the above mentioned TIF districts, allocation of funds for schools improvements, a satellite aldermanic office in Englewood that represents all six wards and current economic development strategies.

We invite residents, stakeholder and community leaders to attend this very important meeting!  For more info contact us at 866.845.1032 or via email at joinrage@gmail.com
