Chicago Cares 25th Annual Serve-A-Thon
Chicago's largest service organization, Chicago Cares, kicks off National Volunteer Month by opening up sign-ups for Chicago's single largest day of community service.
WHAT: Sign-ups begin Monday, April 9, 2018 for individuals and companies volunteering to make a difference during Chicago Cares 25th Annual Serve-A-Thon, on June 24, 2018. Volunteer sign-ups run through April – National Volunteer Month
More than 5,000 volunteers will come together to work, play and give back to their city at more than 30 locations by:
Painting and rehabbing public high schools
Cleaning and beautifying parks and public spaces
Cooking and delivering meals to seniors and home-bound individuals
Providing services at other City locations.
