3rd Annual African Descendants United Peace Festival

See bigger map

This event supported by Alderman Sawyer will feature Jesse White and the Jesse White Tumblers. Also, free horseback riding, face painting, multiple vendors, food and entertainment will be available. We will use this momentous occasion to launch our Black Underground Recycling initiative! Our launch of this economic plan of action will dramatically change our communities in a very positive way.

The Black Underground Recycling initiative is an opportunity to create a residual income to support our community engagement initiatives by using the commodity of recycled aluminum cans.  We will use the proceeds from our recycling program initially to open and run our Karibu Jamii Center in Englewood.
