Together we will make a change

Englewood 57th street families have organized and banded together to stop the violence. Change is underway but not without your help and support.

57th street will have a Rally and March on August 19th 2017. However, it is only the beginning, 57th street families love their family and community. The recent shootings that occurred on August 5th was felt and it caused great mourning for the loss of another love one from this family oriented community. The lost along with the other recent losses that happened in the last two weeks keeps this community in mourning nevertheless there is still a phenomenal amount of hope that resides. A Rally and March only will do what Rallies and Marches have always done. It makes you aware. It lets the surrounding audience know that someone cares about something. 57th street families are not just bringing awareness so that things can remain the same. 57th street is not bringing awareness to just gain more police patrol.

The families in Chicago Englewood wants the public officials and the surrounding families to aid with the growth and changes that must occur in Chicago Englewood and all other areas within Chicago. Chicago needs to change not just in the physical appearance of our beautiful skyscrapers, landmarks, and new roads. Chicago is in the age of growth and development. Growth can not just happen in selective areas. Growth starts in a selective area but it spreads and continues until that growth has covered all areas within reach. Englewood is not a separate city, it is an area within Chicago less than ten miles south of downtown Chicago.  Englewood is and has been screaming for attention and change.

The families on 57th street understand that each house, each family is responsible for their youth. The families on 57th also understand that some families within the community may need help with their youth because 57th street are a family oriented community and understands that all of us need help and support from someone sometimes. We all need each other thus organizing was and is essential to bring about the growth and change that all of Chicago needs. We are all One Chicago, We are all family.

Please meet with us. Talk with the families to see what help or aid is desired. Who better to aid your understanding than someone that is in the mist of the situation. We need your help. We are Chicago Englewood.

Warm Sincere Regards,
