Please Join Partnering Reformation Lutheran Church's screening of AVA DUVANAY'S Award Winning Film "13th", a focus on the history of African American mass incarceration since 1865, Saturday, July 15, 2017, 2 PM, ADMISSION FREE, at Augustana Lutheran/Hyde Park, 55th at University & Woodlawn.

"Ms. DUVANAY'S film is a documentary compliment to Michelle Alexander's important book "The New Jim Crow" notes Rev. Joel Washington (Khunanpu Sangoma), Pastor of Reformation Church.

A Discussion follows.  The event concludes with a Sacred Jazz Candlelight Service for racial & social justice featuring Sangoma & the Sacred Jazz Messengers.
