Hyde Park Garden Fair
The Hyde Park Garden Fair offers thousands of plants for sale: annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetables, hanging baskets, container plants, houseplants, shrubs, groundcovers, and wildflowers. Hours are 9 am to 6 pm on Friday May 19 and Saturday 9 am to 4 pm on Saturday May 20. Sale held on the plaza at the Hyde Park Shopping Center, 55th and Lake Park in Hyde Park, where there is plentiful parking. Profits support gardening projects on the mid-South Side, as well as the activities of the Hyde Park-Kenwood Community Conference. More information is available at www.hydeparkgardenfair.org.
