The University of Chicago Invites You to Participate in the Third Annual Diabetes Cook Off.

In observance of National Diabetes Month, the South Side Diabetes Project at the University of Chicago will host its 3rd Annual Diabetes Cook Off on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at the Washburne Culinary Institute.

The event is free and open to the public. The cook off is an opportunity for amateur cooks from the community to compete and share great tasting, healthy recipes and to demonstrate just how easy healthy cooking can be.  Award-winning chef Matthais Merges of Hyde Park's A10 restaurant, talk show host Cliff Kelley from WVON 1690 AM, philanthropist Julia Hudson (sister of Jennifer Hudson) and many more will serve as panel judges.
